I got up around 3:00 am and Dad got up with me. I drank my bottle without even waking up. I fell back asleep quickly and Dad did a much better job of making sure I was in deep sleep before putting me back in my bassinet. I slept much longer than usually do after my bottle.
The first my double-meal deals today was breakfast, which started at 6:00, broke for a liquidy poop at 6:30, and then continued eating at 6:40. I napped at 7:30 and woke up long enough to have a combo meal at 8:15 and 8:45. I fussed for a while and Mom walked around the apartment with me. I snacked at 10:00 and then sat happily in my bouncy seat while Mom showered and then played with me.
I had another fake-out meal that started at 11:00 and then restarted at 11:25. We took a quick nap and then got ready to go out to lunch with Mom, Dad, and their friend Brian at P.J. Clarke’s. I’m sure they had a great time, but for me it was just a two hour nap. I love sleeping in my stroller!
I had another split-snack at 2:00/2:30, after which I hung out on my activity mat until 3:40 when I ate again. I spent an hour hanging out in Mom’s bed and doing some tummy-time. Then, Mom tickled me — and I LAUGHED! Mom was so excited. Just think: a week ago I hadn’t smiled, and now I’m LOL’ing.
Not much else happened until Uncle Marty and Aunt Sara came to see me (again!). They brought yummy dinner for my parents and they were just enamored by me. Apparently I’m more “proportional” now and they were super impressed that I could hold my own head up. I also learned that I have a lot in common with Uncle Marty — we both have huge heads and we have gas issues. That’s so cool!
I ate around 10:00 and turned in for the night at 10:30.
